Quality evaluation of commercially available instant mango drinks powder in local market of Bangladesh

The upward trend of consumption processed food must not dim the demand taking healthy and safe among population. Thus, six popular commercial brands instant mango drinks powder Bangladesh were targeted to investigate some quality parameters (proximate compositions, mineral contents bioactive compounds). Mineral compounds determined by using biochemical analyzer UV-visible spectrophotometer, respectively. Results proximate analysis showed that moisture content, ash fiber carbohydrate content different ranged from 0.21 0.25%, 0.45 0.55%, 0.10 0.40%, 98.83 99.21%, respectively, whereas energy value 395.32 396.84 Kcal/100g. Sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, phosphorus, iron vitamin-C also determined, which significant (p<0.05) values brands. Total anthocyanin (TAC), flavonoid (TFC), phenolic (TPC), Antioxidant capacity as compounds. samples significantly (p<0.05). Although, varied brand brand, but all could be good source vitamin-C, energy. Furthermore, health concerning issues can improved focusing commercially available powder.
